Nigerian and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, has about the game he swapped shirts with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
According to Osimhen, he and Haaland share mutual respect for one another.
Osimhen and Haaland are two of the most prolific attacker’s in the world at the moment.
The duo have scored on a regular basis for their respective clubs this season and there has been argument on who is the best the two.
Osimhen however has nothing but admiration for the Norwegian, who he has already swapped shirts with through his Napoli teammate, Leo Ostigard.
The Nigerian also rated Haaland as one of the strikers of his generation.
“Leo Ostigard spoke to me a lot about him, how hard he trained, then one day he said: ‘If you want, I can bring you his shirt.’ I said: ‘Of course, bro,” Osimhen told the Daily Mail.
‘So he spoke to Haaland, who also asked for my shirt, so we swapped them through Ostigard. He is one of the best of his generation so to be compared with him – and considered one of the best strikers in the world – only inspires me to do more.”
