Controversial Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, a Nigerian artist, has commented on the argument between Peter Okoye and Seun Kuti.
According to The Site News, Peter and Seun’s argument started when they spoke with TheMiconPodcast.
Seun, who is a son of legendary Afrobeat singer Fela Kuti, insisted that no politician can save Nigeria except for Nigerians themselves.
He described the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as ‘an opportunist who started a movement’ after losing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries.
Reacting to Seun’s submission, Mr P took to Instagram to state that his colleague had wiped away his father’s history.
He said: “Dude just erased his father’s history! You said only the people of Nigeria can save Nigeria! Is PO and the rest of the candidates not the Nigerian people? Shame! Shame!! Shame!!! So disappointed”.
Okoye went on to state that Seun would be an unknown artiste without his father’s name.
However, Portable, who seemed displeased with Mr P subtle attack on Fela, took to his Instagram page to rebuke Mr. P for insulting the king of Aftobeats.
Describing himself as young Fela, he said: “I go by name, portable of Africa, Anikuleti, Young Fela. Ogun kill you, You say wetin. I hear say you dey insult Fela Kuti, You wey be say you and your family still dey alive and una no still blow.”
