The Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja, has sentenced Ukoh Michael Odeh, a suspected ‘Yahoo Boy’, to one year in jail after he fizzled to account for the whole of N6 million found in his account, as charged by the EFCC, Makurdi Zonal Command.

Egwuatu managed over the case, where the litigant, Ukoh Michael Odeh, found himself entrapped in lawful inconvenience after the EFCC’s Makurdi Zonal Command gotten an insights report highlighting suspicious exercises purportedly including people suspected of locks in in web extortion in Makurdi, Benue State.

The charge peruses;

The litigant, Ukoh Michael Odeh, argued blameworthy to the charge, inciting the arraigning advise, M. Yusuf, to ask the court to continue with the conviction.
In reaction to this supplication, Equity Egwuatu given down a one-year jail sentence to Mr. Odeh.
Moreover, the judge allowed the litigant an choice of paying a N300,000.00 fine and requested him to relinquish N300,000 as compensation to the Government Government of Nigeria.
