Top Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy has achieved a new milestone on the international music scene.
He made his debut on India’s Music chart with ”Mera Na bu” by late Indian rapper, Sidhu Moose Wala and it peaked at Number 1.
“Mera Na” released posthumously on April 7, 2023 features Burna Boy and Steel Banglez, a British music composer and producer.
A stat publishing page on Twitter revealed the self-acclaimed African Giant’s milestone makes him the second African and Nigerian artiste after Rema to ever appear on the Billboard India Songs chart.
It wrote; “Mera Na” by (@iSidhuMooseWala,@burnaboy & @steelbanglez) debuts at; 1 on Billboard India Songs”
The song also reached the 14th spot on Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and debuted at 102 on Billboard Global 200 in the United States.
