All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu and Lagos State governor candidate Babajide Sanwo-campaign Olu’s materials were reportedly destroyed by a furious woman in Lagos State and some citizens of Ogun State.
According to The Site News, many Nigerians have turned to protests and the vandalization of public buildings and banks as the country’s economic woes worsen.
Also, with the February 10 deadline for the Naira Swap gradually approaching, a lot of people are still unable to have access to the new Naira notes with POS operators charging exorbitant rates.
Venting their anger, videos sighted online captured some angry Nigerians destroying the APC campaign posters.
A man in the background could be heard lamenting that people are tired of the bad APC government, stating that politicians do not care about the lives of the populace but are after the election.
Meanwhile, a video showing the moment some employees of a commercial bank were spotted making a run for safety as the shortage of new Naira notes bites harder has surfaced on social media.
The staff of the yet-to-be-identified bank were seen at the back of the building jumping over the office fence to escape an ire mob trying to get into the premises.
It was gathered that the affected bank is located in Delta State.
The members of staff had hurdled close to a ladder that had been placed against the wall.
