Funke Akindele has received praise from Funsho Adeoti, the senior wife of Mercy Aigbe’s spouse Kazim Adeoti, for breaking down barriers by running for office.
According to The Site News, Funke Akindele, who stood against Olajide Jandor of the People Democratic Party for governor of Lagos, was defeated by Sanwo-Olu, the current governor.
Following the loss, praises has been ringing for Funke Akindele from her colleagues, fans and supporters.
Joining the likes of Ibrahim Chatta and Alesh Sanni to sing her praises, Funsho Adeoti described Funke as a champion among women.
Celebrating Funke’s courage and dedication, she noted how champions believe in themselves, even when no one does.
Funsho Adeoti added that Funke Akindele is a woman worth celebrating.
